Psycho le Cému: Yankee seek

Big thanks to lemoned and AJ for this costume!

In Japan, some motorcycle crews called "Yankees" wear outfits similar to these with elaborate embroidery on the backs of their jackets representing whatever group their in. They typically wear their pants tucked into their tabi boots and sport pompadour hairstyles. Psycho le Cému parodied this lifestyle with these set of costumes at a handful of their fan club-only concerts in Japan.

Thanks to help from Kira and my friend Neff, we were able to find out what each of their costumes said:
DAISHI (lemoned): "Love Song" (back), "Gang Leader" (front)
Lida (AJ): "A Warrior's Spirit" (b), "Bomb Squad Leader" (f)
AYA (die-chan): "An Actress' Wish" (b), "Bodyguard Leader" (f)
seek: "A Life of Shaving Eyebrows" (b), "Suicide Squad Leader" (f)
YURA-sama (tasu): "I Love Me!" (b), "First Generation Secretary General" (f)

The front of their jackets also says the area of Japan where these guys are originally from and their armbands denote what their role is in the band.

lemoned and I really liked these costumes, especially after we found out what everything meant and recruited our friends so we could have a whole group for Anime Overdose. Running around in these was really fun and we even became a little bit of a tourist attraction while doing a photoshoot on the streets of San Francisco. And, after much begging and pleading, we managed to get a picture with the band themselves! Sweet!
