Gilgamesh: Quattuor

Thanks to the combined efforts of AJ, ZiggyB, Kim and Hitori for help with this costume.

The anime is one of your stereotypical post-apocalyptic, evil genius tries to "cleanse" the world stories. Only this evil genius created a clone army of saucy beings decked out in buckles. Lots of buckles. Lots and lots of buckles.

We were motivated to make these costumes after seeing a photo ZiggyB took while at Winter Comiket 2004 in Japan. All of us were impressed by the designs and look of the costumes and wanted a Gilgamesh army of our own.

Seven months later, after using a variety of office products and adhesives, we got 'em. And, if I do say so myself, we all rocked it quite lovely. For the record, even wiith the cool outfits, this army is nothing but cannon fodder. I don't think my character had a complete sentence in the entire 26 episodes. Oh, and her name means "four" in Latin.
