Samurai Champloo: Mugen

I have lemoned to thank for creating Mugen for me... she rocks!

Samurai Champloo was introduced to me by her and it was geek love at first sight when I saw that the anime incorporated a heavy Hip Hop influence in the look and feel as well as the soundtrack throughout the whole series. lemoned and I agreed that the series needed to be cosplayed and we were both big fans of Jin and Mugen respectively.

I dig Mugen 'cause he's an all-around bad ass that combines traditional samurai sword fighting with Capoeira and b-boy moves... plus he's got cool hair. Did I mention there's an episode with a beatboxer? Y'all need to check this series out, seriously.

Anyway, me and lemoned decided that Yaoi Con, where tons of crossplay happens, would be a great place to debut our costumes... but we needed a Fuu to complete our group. Somehow we managed to convince ZiggyB to crossplay with us.

Hilarity ensued.
