Sakura Taisen/Sakura Wars: Kohran Ri

I have Moo to thank for this gorgeous costume... she made everything except for what's on my head and on my feet. =)

My friends had been trying to get me into Sakura Taisen for a while and after watching a few DVDs I really liked Kohran and her crazy antics. When it was announced that Yuriko Fuchizaki, her Japanese voice actress, would be making an appearance at Anime Overdose, Moo volunteered to make Kohran's musical/movie costume for me! Man, if only all my cosplays were this easy. ;D

While at Anime Overdose, Miss Fuchizaki stopped me and some of my friends for a picture before heading to her panel and even asked me to stand to show people what one of her characters looked like! Sweet!

It was so cool to cosplay with the likes of AJ (Reni), ZiggyB (Ohgami), Moo (Kanna/Gouriki the Bear Killer), TristenCitrine (Orihime), Aimee (Sumire) and Annie (Sakura)!
