Psycho le Cému: Frontiers DAISHI

I have Ayaka to blame for getting me hooked on to Psycho le Cému's music. In case you don't know, "Psycho le Cému is an attractive rock band with a flashy costume and powerful rock performance." I love their music, I love their look, and I hearts them all over the damn place.

When it was announced that they would be making their first US appearance at Pacific Media Expo, all other cosplay plans were dropped in favor of showing off my PLC fandom by creating a costume. Since Ayaka, Yui and XJhideSB already had Frontiers AYA, YURA-sama and seek respectively it seemed only logical to do DAISHI. Besides, I hearts DAISHI... yes, yes I do. =D I can't remember if I helped convince AJ to do Lida or if she convinced herself... either way we had a full group!

Majority of this costume is a product of hours of searching online. The only things I can take credit for making are the gun holster, attaching the belts to each other, the cracked out legwarmers and spraypainting the gun.

In one of the pictures you can see me holding up the autographed cymbal I got as a gift from JPopHouse and PLC for being a sucker--- err... actually the highest bidder for a backstage pass. Same difference. ;D

Psycho le Cému actually got to see all of us briefly during their panel/press conference at PMX and I can only hope it made them happy to see more American fans cosplaying as them. Psycho le Cému ROCKS!
