Psycho le Cému: Dark side ver./April 2004 SHOXX DAISHI
SHOXX is a popular music magazine in Japan that specializes in covering bands in the visual kei scene. In April 2004 they did a special photoshoot with Psycho le Cému where they dressed them in not-so-stereotypical Psycho costumes and called it their "Dark side ver." In a way, this is how I would imagine PLC to be if they were a typical visual kei band.
I had originally planned to wear this at Pacific Media Expo during PLC's appearance there, but running around being a fan girl meant that I didn't have time to.
This costume falls under the "quick and dirty" category and I only planned to wear it once then maybe reuse the cloak to scare the kids during Halloween or something. However, looking at the pictures I realize I could've done a much better job on my make-up and it was pretty fun swooshing around with a big ass cloak... so I'll probably wear it one more time at a future con.
In one of the pictures is my old roommate Diana who got to get a taste of what cosplaying was about when she hung out with me and my friends at Anime Expo 2004. Good times, good times.
