Battle Royale 2 Uniform

Before you find yourself amazed at my craftsmanship skills... this is an official BA-TSU Battle Royale 2 uniform that was bought in Tokyo while vacationing there during the summer of 2003. So, no questions on where I found the fabric, okay? ;D

Best Bud and I really liked the camo print of the uniforms before we even saw the movie and were determined to get our own BR2 gear while in Tokyo. After watching the movie while out there in a theater in Ikebukuro (and not understanding 75% of it), we REALLY REALLY liked the camo and set on a journey through the streets of Shibuya to find the store that sold the official merchandise.

Thanks to the help of a Berlitz English teacher in Shibuya we finally found a store and proceeded to amuse the salesgirls working there as me and the Best Bud egged each other on over what we should get.

Granted, the movie is not a masterpiece, but I love the print regardless and I wear the pieces separately outside of cosplay. The collar wasn't too difficult to make either and it's fun to accessorize the outfit with whatever random stuff I have lying around during cons.
