Final Fantasy X-2: Black Mage Paine

So after making Warrior Paine and finishing FFX-2 I really wanted to do another Paine costume. I always like the designs of the Black Mage ones and the thought of wearing a big pimpin' witch's hat was just too good to be passed up. The first version of this costume was pinned, hotglued and taped onto me just in time for the Ani-Magic 2003 masquerade by my girls. I've since improved upon it so I need minimal tape in it now. LOL

The biggest thing that sucks about this costume (other than the fact that I keep forgetting how big the hat is and I run into walls/doorways) is that pleather pants + vinyl waist/corset thing = REALLY hot. While wearing this at RECCA-Con I seriously felt like I was swimming in my costume everytime I walked outside. Ewwww.

In case you're wondering, the Black Mage Yuna is the Best Bud and that cute Black Mage Paine plush was created by Kurono.
